Mr. Amitabh Kant is presently CEO of National Institution for Transforming India (NITI). He is a member of the Indian Administrative Service, IAS (Kerala Cadre: 1980 batch). He is the author of Branding India - An Incredible Story. Mr. Kant has been a key driver of the "Make in India", Startup India, "Incredible India" and God's Own Country "initiatives that positioned India and Kerala State as leading manufacturing and tourism destinations. These campaigns have won several international awards and embraced a host of activities - infrastructure development, product enhancement, private-public partnership and positioning and branding based on extensive market research. Mr. Kant also conceptualized the "Atithi Devo Bhavah" - "Guest is God" campaign to train Taxi Drivers, Guides, immigration officials and make them stakeholders in the tourism development process. Mr. Amitabh Kant was also the National Project Director of the Rural Tourism Project of UNDP which made a paradigm shift in spreading tourism to Indian villages which had core-competency in handicrafts, handloom and culture.
In his capacity as Secretary (Industries) Govt. of India, Mr. Kant drove the Ease of Doing Business initiative and ranking of States on outcome parameters. He is the Chairman of the Committee to implement Digital Payments in India.
Mr. Kant has been the recipient of Economic Time Policy Change Agent of the Year Award, the Bloomberg TV Personality of the year Award, the NDTV Administrator of the year Award and the Distinguished Fellowship of the Institute of Directors. He is the recipient of One Globe Award-2016 for leadership in Transforming Governance for the 21st Century. He is a Member of the Steering Board of "Shaping the Future of Production Systems" of World Economic Forum. He is also the recipient of Sir Edmund Hillary Fellowship award by the Prime Minister of New Zealand. He is also the recipient of Golden Peacock Award for leadership in Economic Transformation - 2017.
Mr. Amitabh Kant has worked as CMD - ITDC, Joint Secretary - Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Secretary - Tourism, Government of Kerala, Managing Director, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, District Collector, Kozikhode and Managing Director, Matsyafed. During his tenure in Kerala, he structured the Calicut Airport as a private sector project based on User's Free and developed the BSES Power Project and Mattanchery Bridge under Private Public Partnership. He was also responsible for introducing new technology (fiberglass crafts and outboard motor) in the fisheries sector and launching beach level auctions which substantially enhanced returns to traditional fishermen.
Mr. Amitabh Kant did his schooling from Modern School, Delhi, graduation in Economics (Hons) from St. Stephens, Delhi University and M.A from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is a Chevening Scholar.

                                      

Prof. Appa Rao Podile obtained his M.Sc, with Gold medal and Ph.D in Plant Pathology from Sardar Patel University. He is interested in molecular plant-microbe interactions. His research group focuses on molecular interactions of rhizosphere bacteria with plants. In the past decade, domain shuffling/swapping of recombinant bacterial chitinases, bioprocess development for production of chitooligosaccharides by enzymatic methods, mechanism of elicitor (harpin) induced cell death, nanotechnology for crop protection, and non-host resistance have been the major areas of research interest.
Prof. Podile is elected Fellow of Indian National Science Academy (INSA, New Delhi), Indian Academy of Sciences (Bangalore), National Academy of Sciences (Allahabad), National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (New Delhi), Academy of Microbiological Sciences (New Delhi), AP Akademy of Sciencesd and Founding Fellow of Telangana State Academy of Sciences (Hyderabad).
Prof. Podile is currently the President of Association of Microbiologists of India. Prof. Podile was honoured with "Millennium Plaque of Hnour" by Prime Minster of India at the Indian Science Congress held at Tirupati during January 2017.
He is recipient of JC Bose Fellowship from DST, Tata Innovation Fellowship from DBT and has been conferred Honoris Causa, D.Sc. by the Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. He has been recipient of Rajib Goyal Young Scientist Award in Agricultural Sciences from Goyal Foundation, Outstanding Plant Pathologist Award from Indian Society of Mycology and Plant Pathology, and Professor Rangaswami Award in Agricultural Microbiology from Association of Microbiologists of India.
Currently Prof. Podile is Vice Chancellor of University of Hyderabad since September 2015.
Prof. Podile published about 100 research papers, guided 20 Ph.D. students; His research citations are over 2400 with an h-index of 26. At present 3 post docs, and 8 Ph.D. students are working in his group. His lab is currently supported by Department of Biotechnology as part of Indo-UK project on Biological Nitrogen Fixation.

                                               

Prof. J. Mahender Reddy is at present Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, a Deemed-to-be University under section 3 of the UGC Act, located in Hyderabad. As the Vice-Chancellor he has significantly contributed to the development of a research culture and a good leadership which enabled the University to secure 'A+' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). He is the Chancellor of ICFAI University, Tripura and was the Chancellor of ICFAI University, Raipur.
Prof. Reddy got his Master's degree from The Delhi School of Economics with distinction and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
He was a Fellow of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada in, and again at the University of Ottawa. He was Fulbright Fellow, at the University of Boston. He was the first Chair, in the Indian Ocean Studies, of the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation, located at the University of Mauritius.
He taught in the Faculty of Business Administration, at the University of Alberta in Canada, Saint Peter's College in the United States, Administrative staff College of India, and at the Osmania University for over three decades, and won the Best Teacher award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He has guided 14 PhDs and 9 M.Phil scholars in Osmania and ICFAI Universities. He has published forty research papers, and ten books.
He was a member of the High Level Committees appointed by the UGC, ICSSR, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the government of India, Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), and ICFAI. He was also a member of the FICCI Higher Education Committee. He was a member of the Governing Council of the Association of Indian Universities (2015-17) located in New Delhi.

                                               

Sugumar Mariappanadar, Ph.D Centre for Sustainable HRM and Well-being, Peter Faber Business School, Australian Catholic University, Melbourne, Australia Dr. Sugumar Mariappanadar is one of the top three internationally acclaimed researchers who have shaped the field of sustainable HRM since 2000. He is a sought after speaker globally on sustainable HRM.He has published many articles in the field of sustainable HRM in high quality peer-reviewed international journals such as Human Resource Management Review, International Journal of Manpower, International Studies of Management and Organization, International Journal of Social Economics, and Society and Business Review. He is also commissioned by Palgrave Macmillan Publisher, London to author the first international textbook on sustainable HRM to be published in 2018.

                                               

Prof. Michael Muller-Camen is Professor of Human Resource Management at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Professor (part-time) of International Human Resource Management at Middlesex University Business School, London and Distinguished Professor at the Open University of Hong Kong. Michael has developed a reputation as one of the leading academics in the newly emerging area of Sustainable HRM. He is co-editor-in-chief of the German Journal of Human Resource Management (GHRM) and has published articles in journals such as British Journal of Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Relations and Organization Studies.

                                               

Mr. Sanjay Singh is currently Divisional Chief Executive, Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division, ITC Ltd. He is elected as the Chairman of CII Telangana for the year 2018-19.
A chemical engineer from IIT Kanpur, Singh joined the erstwhile ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited as a management trainee in 1977 and rose to become a whole time director in 1999. Consequent to the merger of ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited with ITC Limited in March 2002, he took charge of the Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division as Executive Vice President (Manufacturing) with responsibility for Bhadrachalam, Tribeni, Kovai and Bollaram units.
Mr. Singh was CII Telangana Vice Chairman for 2017-18.

                                               

Mr. Srikanth Surampudi is currently General Manager HR & Regional Head Human Resources, Tata Consultancy Services, Hyderabad. Prior to this he was Head-HR Initial Learning Program, India during 2012 - 2017 and Regional HR Head, Andhra Pradesh during 2005 - 2012 at Tata Consultancy Services.
He also worked with HR Manager, Aurobindo Pharma (2004 - 2005); Marketing Head, GC Asia Dental Pte Ltd (2002 - 2004); HR-Manager, Visualsoft Ltd (2000 - 2001); Operations Manager, Lanco Global Systems Limited (1999 - 2000) and Regional Placement Executive, Aptech Computer Education (1996 - 1999).
He holds a PG Dip. in Personnel Management from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad (2003 - 2004) and MBA in HR & Marketing from Shivaji University (1992 - 1994). He is currently pursuing his PhD in Business Administration and Management from Andhra University.

                                               

Dr. Jibitesh Rath, former General Manager- (HRD), NMDC Limited, Hyderabad is a leader, scholar, corporate HR & CSR dimensionist, motivational speaker, was rated as "Outstanding Chief Vigilance Officer." National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) the highest professional body of Human Resource Professionals conferred its highest recognition "Fellowship" on him in 2005 during its Asia-Pacific Conference, held at Chennai. Dr. Rath is also closely associated with Bharat Scouts & Guides, the largest Youth Movement in India having 60 lakh membership and affiliated to World Organisation of Scout Movement (WOSM), London.
He is presently National Council Member of NIPM and Member of Board of Studies of NIPM. Dr. Rath is also life member of various other professional bodies like Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), National HRD Network, AIMA, Indian Industrial Relations Association & Indian Society for Labour Economics. Presently, he is National Council Member of ISTD and Governing Council Member of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Hyderabad Chapter.
Dr. Rath has published 18 papers in various professional journals & books (edited). He is a Research Guide for students of IGNOU, Osmania University (Hyderabad), J.N.T.U., Hyderabad, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Utkal University (Bhubaneswar), North Orissa University (Baripada), NIPM & ISTD. As a guest faculty in various academic institutions the area of interest of Dr. Rath are Performance Counselling, Stress Management and Employment Relations in the industries. He is a certified Counsellor from Indian Society of Health Administration, Bangalore.



                                               

Ms. Sangeeta Menon is Publishing Relationship Manager at Emerald Publishing, where she leads the publishing program for India, which includes considering journal and book proposals. She also looks into journal special issues proposals within India.
Sangeeta has over 13 years of experience in the Publishing industry. Prior to joining Emerald, she worked with leading publishers like Taylor & Francis (Editor - Journals, South Asia), Elsevier (Publisher, Asia) and Wiley (Publishing Manager, India). She has conducted multiple author workshops in the past that has provided her with a platform to address her passion of helping researchers understand the publishing world better and vice versa.
